Thank you for the thoughts. The vet updated us a little while ago. His potassium is better, but the big fluid issues remain.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
When considering that question, don't forgot to factor in the Pope Signal
I just tried to figure out my leave balance (as noted earlier, it is nearly impossible to get the real information), and it seems like I might have close to six weeks of accrued vacation. Holy crap. That is going to be a fat check, and makes me much more comfortable about the fact that I might have to take money out of a credit card for the whole moving process.
If I interviewed for a job, and a company is doing a full-on background check on me, and in addition to the background check, HR is asking for my references (again), what are the chances they're going to offer me the job?
Background checks cost money, so...cautiously optimistic?
So a "full-on background" is pretty much to see if you're a felon, right?
Based on my lack of knowledge on the subject, I'd say that sounds really good.
It probably would pull up any court proceedings on you at all in addition to credit history etc.
Probably pretty good, because a major background check is expensive. You'd probably have to be in the top three, at least.
