Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I loved Dewitt flopping over the railing in her skirt. Not just once, but twice. Hee.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"I am your superior!"
"Yes, in every way."

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I really liked the episode too.

Man, I just can't believe I actually liked an episode of this show to the point that I can/want to quote it! YAY!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I absolutely hated this episode. Hated it. Man. I hope the show doesn't do any more like this.

Heh, well there you go- YMMV.

I liked it because first and foremost I got some glimpses of actual character and personalities. There was also some backstory and the circle back to Adele in the room with Sam.

I got invested in everyone there, which has definitely been lacking for me until now.

ETA: I also enjoyed that these arrogant controllers of people's brains not only lost control of the Doll's brains but also their own.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

"Four hours ago you were talking about how much you liked applesauce!"

Applesauce is pretty cool.

I mean, it's all fruity and mushy and tangy. Goes great with pork, or you can just stir it into yogurt for a quick and easy dessert.

That's what they should make a show about: applesauce. Fox, call me!

Oh yeah, Dollhouse. Two good episodes in a row has roused me somewhat from my bemused torpor.

Topher is more bearable on drugs, or maybe just more explicable. Shoots my theory that he's a doll to hell, though. Adele is delightful, but I'm glad we don't get the "I'm sooo British" shtick every week. Boyd is just a big old box of awesome.

I am aware that there are other characters on the show.

OK, sinking back into the torpor. Sweet, sweet, torpor...

Always Anti-fascist!

That was awesome! Crowded, but awesome.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Injustice aside, I hope Sam gets Dolled. I lurve him. And, injustice aside, I was rooting for Mellie and Paul.

Injustice in place, wrong and good on them separating.

Oh, and they might want to check their drug--doesn't work very well on black people.
