So angry about Sierra's child abuse, btw. Not letting that slide. Angry.
Glad to know you've made it all better for her. Except, oh yeah, you haven't.
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

Is there a way to make child abuse better?

Your secret sleeper agent, I guess.
nah, that was Paul's.
My parents.
I don't want to touch Sierra's story with a ten-foot pole, and the end creeped me out to no ends, what with the sweet tender music of "see? Isn't is a good thing we're doing? And then they'll have sex because he paid for it."
It's sad, people die, and it's sad, and horrific. Then they couple that with "well, I paid for it."
Except, on the other hand, if I am to buy into the "it's rape" when the dolls have sex, then the whole thing is rape. It's weird that it took this ep to come to that conclusion, what with the heart-string-pulling, but, if the sex is rape, so is love and enamourment that comes with it. Penetration of a body, penetration of a mind. It's all better now because I equate it with the wiping of the original mind, or it's worse because I equate the wiping of the mind with the physical act of sex (rape)?
Does Paul's relationship with Mellie now equal rape because it's not her original personality giving consent, even though Paul does not know that she doesn't have a choice? Is rape and it's definition not applicable and a new term is needed? Or no, because the act of power and control is being performed by Adelle?
Oh, it was Ballard's place, wasn't it.

My answering machine keeps me from having to talk to telemarketers.
I finally caught this weeks episode. Not much to add that hasn't been said. So I'll make a geek/tech observation. Did anyone see a reflection of cameraman in the kitchen in the beginning?
