Fay, Sci-Fi have picked up the UK rights.
They're going to be airing it without widescreen (so some of the screen cut out) and I suspect with cuts (each episode is 50 minutes, which leads little room for commercials).
My favourite quote from the press release:
"The special effects in [this] series are genuinely show-stopping and likely to be the subject of many water-cooler moments for fans."
That's good to know, but I'm in Thailand, mate.

Dollhouse? What special effects are they talking about?
I don't know. The only noticeable effect I can think of was the bullet time at the end of The Target. (The 'hello Joss? It's The Matrix on the phone from a decade ago, could we have our special effects back please?' one). I am guessing the NBC Universal exec quoted hasn't actually seen the show he's bought.
Does anyone here have discussions around water coolers?
Sometimes I wonder if water cooler discussions happen in real life. Either that or I've always worked at places too stressed out to have time standing around chatting drinking water.
Maybe it's archaic now? Like the image men sitting around a potbellied stove in the general store discussing news...
