I don't know. The only noticeable effect I can think of was the bullet time at the end of The Target. (The 'hello Joss? It's The Matrix on the phone from a decade ago, could we have our special effects back please?' one). I am guessing the NBC Universal exec quoted hasn't actually seen the show he's bought.

Does anyone here have discussions around water coolers?
Sometimes I wonder if water cooler discussions happen in real life. Either that or I've always worked at places too stressed out to have time standing around chatting drinking water.
Maybe it's archaic now? Like the image men sitting around a potbellied stove in the general store discussing news...
We have kettle talks at my work whilst we make tea. I've never felt more British than right now.

It's using the word "whilst" I think.

We don't even have a water cooler. But sometimes we have discussions in the break room?
In our break room, Fox News is often playing. I don't stay there long.
We eat our lunches in the conference room. . . if there isn't a meeting.
There isn't a water cooler but we sometimes have bottles of water and there is coffee.
They're going to be airing it without widescreen (so some of the screen cut out)...
That's the way FOX airs it as well, at least on their non-HD channel. It's made for both formats (like Firefly). There was an interview a few weeks ago in which Joss complained about having to make it for both aspect ratios so that there couldn't be one true format. I watch on FOX in 4:3 and then rewatch on Hulu in 16:9, and it looks genuinely good both ways.
Isn't televised slash much more entertaining when it's not intentional?
Well, if it were intentional, then it wouldn't be slash, right?
