I like Mellie. Or at least I want to, and I hope we get reason to. She's hella pretty. They did the whole-pan-as-leftovers thing in the first episode as well, didn't they?
Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
I'd likely bring him manicotti and pie. Good neighbor that I am. I'm assuming there is more to Mellie. My theory is that she's Caroline's sister (or enemy not sure which) and is hanging close to find out information to aid her own search.
I watched the last 2 this weekend because I missed last week. They were better than the first ones, but not must watch tv. They didn't piss me off, so that is a clear improvement.
But would you bring manicotti to his office?
The last two have been interesting to me in that I was much more into the main plot and Eliza's performance and much less fond of the stuff going on behind the scenes at the Dollhouse, a reversal from earlier episodes.
I think that she's an active that's been placed there to keep an eye on Ballard. OTOH, haven't they said something about the imprint only lasting 10 hours?
Would it really be worth it to the Dollhouse to devote two actives to keeping Ballard in the dark? Particularly sending one of them into an FBI facility where her face would be all over security cameras?

Yep.

I don't think so. Hasn't Echo been out on assignment for more than 10 hours?
I think the 10 hours thing may have been dropped during the show development.
If Mellie is connected to Caroline somehow, I'm voting for her being the one shooting the 'Hi Mom' video.
