And I'm pretty sure Cal has his own role to play. I presume he took his serum with him, is that what that was?
The bottles that they confiscated on the plane were empty, or mostly empty. I think what we have is a Trojan Cal, ready to go all rage monster.
Ahaaaaaaa yes that makes sense.
I *really* loved Kyle MacLachlan's performance in this episode. He's been such a great addition to the show.
He really has!! I enjoy him quite a bit. I'm...I'm kind of on his side at times? Like, he's actually like Ward in the sense that he's fully aware of himself (okay, maybe a little more deluded than Ward); he is, at least, honest and open. I loved how he acknowledged that he hated Coulson the most but he couldn't deny that he cared about Skye and would do good by her.
I suspect collusion. Jaiying couldn't wait to get Cal out of her hair, then all of a sudden they're making plans, and they were giving each other looks of "we're on the same page" before he's taken away.
edit: I hadn't thought he might have juiced up. They were hanging a lampshade on the fact he takes some sort of formula and the mostly empty vials.
Both
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
and
Agent Carter
have been renewed!!
Also, no Mockingbird/Hunter spinoff. Just as well.
I like Hunter bouncing off Coulson.
Same here; I'll miss him. I like the banter between him and Mockingbird, but I don't know if that's enough for them to carry their own show.
