Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'll have to remember not to watch next week, since I won't see AoU for another week.

"He has them vote on decisions!" And Maria's jaw drop of disbelief.

And of course, "Oh! Spoiler alert!"

Phil is such a wonderful troll. And looks great in Adidas-brand tactical gear.

I think I believe that Ward wants to help Kara. I don't believe anything else. "I'm still glad I shot you."

I didn't quite get that. I went to a merry-go-round place, but was it a jab at the spikes?

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

It finally occurred to me why it felt so wierd that other!SHIELD doesn't like secrets.

YOU'RE A SPY AGENCY. OF COURSE THERE ARE SECRETS. eyes rolling forever.

I think it was Phil keeping secrets from May after everything they've been through, not SHIELD has secrets. Though that "You're not the director" thing hurt--unless she knows Fury's still around? Except Fury passed on the mantle.

Edit: Oh, but the glorious Neener-neener of "Until Fury comes back and asks for it." Oh, is there something big that I knew that you didn't? Really?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It was a Sonic the Hedgehog reference. (Because in the Sonic the Hedgehog game, that's what he did. And, you know, Raina's all spiky. Like a hedgehog.)

I'm fairly blown away looking at how much Simmons has changed -- she was straight up going to murder Ward, except for Bakshi getting in the way. Daaaang.

Also, since Raina is clairvoyant and saw flashes of the events of AoU...does this mean she saw the damn movie before the rest of us? (I kid, I kid.)

Of which I know nothing. I feel old.

edit: Simmons gives me great delight. She was so flighty, but there is solid steel in that woman. But I fully understand her reasoning. Ward is a proven threat, he cannot be trusted, he directly tried to kill her and Fitz, he's killed several people and conspired in the deaths of thousands. He has forfeited his right to be in the world, but she knows she's going to have to sneak up on him to do it. Unfortunately, he now knows what she wants to do.

I just edited; in the Sonic game, he spun around and got gold rings. And Raina's all spiky, like a hedgehog.

May's comment about the not-the-director had me looking for pod people. If you know him so well, why don't you trust him to be doing things for the right reasons?

Oh, Ward, honey, you didn't make "mistakes." What you made were choices. You sound like one of my students...

I should have gotten the Sonic reference. Facepalm.
