I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers

TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

At least if a lot of groundwork is laid in Age of Ultron I doubt Joss will be onboard with the "Iron Man is right! Interdimensional gulags for everyoneall dissenters!" thing Marvel had going for a while.

I'm thinking Bobbi and Mack are working for Talbot. Which would explain why they fear exposing themselves would result in being in direct conflict with their pals at SHIELD. There's no particular reason to think Tony Stark is at odds with SHIELD at this point, particularly with Coulson. Skeptical, but not in opposition.

But Talbot? Yeah, he's not buying hardly anything Coulson's selling, and he would love to have eyes inside.

Still bored by Hunter. Still bummed that they killed off Lucy Lawless so fast. Bored by Skye, too.

And I hated Sif's boots. Nobody wears platform heels to a battle!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooh, good theory, 'Suela.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Talbot is Adrian Pasdar? I like that theory.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Talbot is Adrian Pasdar? I like that theory.

I clearly need more coffee, because my reaction was "Uh, there's nothing theoretical about the provable fact that Talbot is portrayed by Adrian Pasdar!" MOAR COFFEE PLZ.

(And now that I understand what you meant, I, too like that theory.)

How much would the show deviate from the comics? Could they be secret Inhumans?

Ahahahahahaha, no, I just don't remember character names very well. I had to look Talbot up. Turns out his name on this show isn't "Profit who was also on Heroes."

All is well that ends in pizza.

Maybe Talbot is Nathan Petrelli.

Or Syler...pretending to be Petrelli pretending to be Talbot.

I'm so very shallow, but DAMN, Blair Underwood looks better than ever.
