Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

Howard Stark always strikes me as short even as he appears the same height as other characters. Why is that?

I saw Dominic Cooper IRL at Kate Bush. He is wee. As is his girlfriend, Ruth Negga. They were like tiny, perfect people.

Badass Jarvis! Zola!

Boy I hope this gets renewed. And I hope one of those agents is Hydra. Maybe even Souza.

And Thompson at least knows that he doesn't deserve the credit. Sometimes it's simpler to let the wheels turn than to start an argument with the stupid.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Zola! well done, show!

BASICALLY YES.

ALSO I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED THAT DOTTIE SURVIVED. SHE IS MY FAVORITE.

Dottie was awesome. I want to watch her fight with Peggy every Christmas.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It was nice to see two women fighting, really fighting. I've always had a bit of a competence kink. Man, it's what I've missed since Buffy ended. It's not that they're "strong" women in physical strength, it's that they know they can do the job and do anything they can to succeed, from sedatives in their lipstick to beating the crap out each other with a baseball bat.

I am ambivalent about Thompson letting the senator give him all the credit. He looked at Peggy, but it felt more like a smirky "neener neener" than a "see? I told you this is what happens and there's nothing I can do about." All he really needed to do was say "I have a good team and Agent Carter was integral to the mission." I still think he's a big schmuck and I grudgingly admit he's three dimensional, but not necessarily likeable.

The Senator wouldn't have believed him. That Senator showed up on a political mission, and all he'd have done would be to say "Wow, how generous this guy is to the lesser people on his staff, he's even giving a shoutout to the little lady." If Thompson goes too far off the expected script, he'll be in danger of being replaced himself.

I think that if it were the definite final episode of the series, they would have gone that route, but since they're looking for a renewal, they're kind of hitting the reset button for next season.

Next season (please), Peggy will be appreciated but will be a secret weapon, and Thompson may or may not be making points off her work. Heck, he could try to ingratiate himself with her, try to sweet talk her.

Poor Souza! Peggy, you shouldn't have looked so smug after you turned him down!

And while I like Howard, I still don't trust him, two beautiful women living in one of his houses? He knows Peggy would slug him, but the girl whose name I forget might let herself be talked into something.

Do we know who Iron Man's mother is? Could it be the roommate?
