"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That was an amazing finale! I'm so relieved they didn't go the magic blood to heal a disability route.

Howard Stark always strikes me as short even as he appears the same height as other characters. Why is that?

I saw Dominic Cooper IRL at Kate Bush. He is wee. As is his girlfriend, Ruth Negga. They were like tiny, perfect people.

Badass Jarvis! Zola!

Boy I hope this gets renewed. And I hope one of those agents is Hydra. Maybe even Souza.

And Thompson at least knows that he doesn't deserve the credit. Sometimes it's simpler to let the wheels turn than to start an argument with the stupid.

Dottie was awesome. I want to watch her fight with Peggy every Christmas.

It was nice to see two women fighting, really fighting. I've always had a bit of a competence kink. Man, it's what I've missed since Buffy ended. It's not that they're "strong" women in physical strength, it's that they know they can do the job and do anything they can to succeed, from sedatives in their lipstick to beating the crap out each other with a baseball bat.

I am ambivalent about Thompson letting the senator give him all the credit. He looked at Peggy, but it felt more like a smirky "neener neener" than a "see? I told you this is what happens and there's nothing I can do about." All he really needed to do was say "I have a good team and Agent Carter was integral to the mission." I still think he's a big schmuck and I grudgingly admit he's three dimensional, but not necessarily likeable.

The Senator wouldn't have believed him. That Senator showed up on a political mission, and all he'd have done would be to say "Wow, how generous this guy is to the lesser people on his staff, he's even giving a shoutout to the little lady." If Thompson goes too far off the expected script, he'll be in danger of being replaced himself.
