Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Also, awhile back someone mentioned Peggy eventually married one of the Howling Commandos. I thought the Peggy recording in CA:WS said that her eventual husband was someone she rescued alongside Cap and the Commandos.

She said Steve saved the man who became her husband. Which led to a lot of people speculating that it might have been one of the Howling Commandos. But Barb (who I don't think posts here) has a theory that maybe Thompson or Sousa gets gravely injured and the vial of Steve's blood saves him, and that's who she marries. The movie left it really vague and open-ended.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Okay. I couldn't remember the specifics, but I would think if she had married a Commando a news/documentary recording would have mentioned it straight-out, considering they were famous.

brillig

I've always been intrigued by the CA:WS recording not putting a married name on Peggy. Given the apparent age of the recording, that would have been on there.

I didn't realize until I was just thinking it over that the scene in Dooley's house was his hallucination. That's kind of cruel, to wake him from that. But yay him with the "Good girl."

I think Marvel wanted to leave it open-ended on purpose.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

What is the deal with the hypno-guy's ring? Is it special, or a red herring?

I think it's just a tool for him to use: what's special is his hypnotic ability.

So sad to see Dooley go, I had grown to like him a lot in the last few episodes. But I'm glad he didn't die like poor Yauch.

There was a LOT packed into that episode. Every time I fast-forwarded through another set of commercials, I was surprised at how much there was left. This is some good storytelling.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

YES. It's become so much better lately.

As I said before, and as everyone says now, yeah: I had grown to really like Dooley, so dammit. That was sad.

I hadn't put together the rage gas with the Battle of Finaw, but that makes sense! Eesh.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

There was a LOT packed into that episode.

And Peggy never left the office.

The one bit that seemed awkwardly-done was Dooley locking up Peggy and Jarvis and then leaving; why were they loose in that room anyway if they were in custody?
