Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Mr. Hyde is a Marvel villain.

Right, the MCU version of the Marvel Comics version.

a struggle with a dual personality

See, that's not what it looked like to me. I saw a guy struggling with his temper, but no suggestion the temper was a completely different persona.

I thought we was kind of transforming as well.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The theme of calling Skye's parents "monsters" over and over and over again AND cutting away from the carnage says to me that he doesn't look human all the time.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I thought we was kind of transforming as well.

He was certainly lit very starkly (or moodily? strangely? basically, the way he was lit, even for this show that tends to be visually dark, had a very creepy effect), which made it seem as though he could transform. Even in the last scene with Whitehall, who was lit fairly normally (for this show), creepy Skye-dad was still lit really moodily.

Yeah, you can't see his face clearly, and what you can see looks off.

I liked him quickly cleaning up the blood spatter with his sleeve. "Oops, sorry, my bad."

I'm pretty thrilled he was cast. I'm liking this year better than last, although it's way darker tonally (and visually).

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

heh ... if someone dressed up as Skye for Halloween, could we call them Skye-clad?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

See, that's not what it looked like to me. I saw a guy struggling with his temper, but no suggestion the temper was a completely different persona.

Several shots of him staring into a mirror, smashing mirrors...that all suggests dual personas to me. I hadn't actually thought he was transforming, per se, but definitely that he is trying to keep an independent side of himself in check.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

After the scene with Raina, I turned to the DH and said, "I think that's the most I've ever seen Kyle McLaughlin actually ACT."

Compassionately intolerant

he doesn't look human all the time.

When Raina first walked into the dad's room a number of episodes ago, his arm was all oozy, drippy, slimy, gross. It seemed like a metamorphosis sort of moment.

So much so, that I expected him to decompose right in front of us when he got all ragey.
