So far Fitz has been breaking my heart every week.
Oddly, I'm okay with that.
(They need to use Trip more, though.)
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

it wasn't sexualized at all
Well, Phil was being sad he was the only one to see it. But maybe he was just appreciating the martial arts. I wasn't paying attention--was that Agent 33?
I'm really enjoying the Coulson/May relationship.
edit: re: Fitz--does he just think Simmons doesn't love him? Or is it true? I'm so sad that that relationship is in danger. She disappeared when he went to bond with the others. But he needed to join the others.

Yeah, that could have gone either way.

Yes. She mentioned being part of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Fitz--does he just think Simmons doesn't love him? Or is it true?
He confessed his feelings when they were both going to die and she didn't return them.
she didn't return them
I kind of thought she did but was more in the mode of "I love you, don't you dare kill yourself for me, dammit!"
Loved the May/May-be not fight - serious fighting, not a girlie cat fight (as so often happens).
And when they went through the lasers? I was thinking May's shiny dress might have been designed to reflect/deflect them.
I hope so, because my though was Why the HELL would you wear something so shiny on what might involve a lot of sneaking around?
No, I think Simmons was very clear to Fitz that he was dear to her, but she didn't love him romantically. I still wonder why they dropped what we saw in the pilot where Fitz was crushing on Skye.
Yeah, both HYDRA and SHIELD love sticking their logos on everything. It's what they do.
I'm not digging the HYDRA trooper uniforms. I mean, they're better than the green and yellow get ups from the comics, but they're still very goofy looking.
I will say this episode felt like a classic SHIELD story with the spy-vs-spy action between SHIELD and HYDRA.
I want to talk to the wardrobe department about how it doesn't cost a lot to make women look great.
That sequin dress? I could have sewn something better.
May look great in everything, but that dress was wearing her. Ugh.
Or maybe they figured that the shiny, shiny dress would distract Hydra?
I guess Phil didn't remember that he essentially told Hydra that he was in charge of New Shield. That was nicely downplayed, when 33/fauxMay realized what he was telling her.
