While not as fun as the previews led us to believe, that was a pretty enjoyable episode.
Yay, Fitz, saving the day and bonding with the new guys.
I was wondering what was up with Talbot, because he seemed off. (Not just the being in league with HYDRA thing.) Glad to see it was intentional.
Hey, that face thing is very old school Mission Impossible.
Okay, oddly, I'm happy Talbot isn't in bed with Hydra.
I know what you mean.
I really liked this ep. It finally feels likes it's kicking on all cylinders. And next week looks intense (though I'm a bigger Skye fan than most so there's that).
I really think think the lead-up to Winter Soldier last season hurt the show enormously.

Nods emphatically. However, I DO thing it's hit its stride. The May/May-be Not clone fight was awesome. And Fitz! My heart!
I was hoping Fitz would complain about the crap beer at least.
And Coulson lamenting that no one else can watch the May on May action.
I'm all for branding, but why does Hydra have to have their logo all over everything? May wouldn't have been on alert if she'd been looking at a boring manila folder.
I was thinking it was stupid for the Hydra goons to have the tasteful little Hydra logos on their uniforms.
I lol'd at May walking right into the laser grid.
I thought the episode was pretty fabulous and I agree that it feels like it's hitting its stride now.
I laughed out loud at the whole exchange about Mac's exes and the year he pretended to like quinoa. Also I noted they didn't mention the gender of his exes, so maybe they'll make him gay!
I love that they had a fight between two women, one of whom was in her underwear, and it wasn't sexualized at all. Just a fuckin' BRAWL.
