I liked that Skye was able to calmly take the shot and that she was able to admit that she was upset by it. I admit that I'd forgotten she was there with a rifle until Donny got shot. I was also surprised--then surprised at my surprise--that the team knew where Gemma was. There's actually no reason for them not to know where she went.
I noticed in Winter Soldier that Steve has Level 7 clearance. Ward didn't find out about Coulson surviving till he was given Level 7. So now I'm wondering if Steve knows Phil's alive and is keeping quiet out of general "we don't talk about secrets" prudence.
There's a thought, Connie.
RDJ keeps teasing that he would like to cameo on SHIELD; I wonder what level of clearance the various Avengers have in SHIELD. I mean, Romanoff's gotta be pretty high, but I wonder about the others. Thor's probably pretty low-level, but Stark has to have some kind of clearance...or the ability to just hack his way into stuff. Banner's gotta have some clearance. Hawkeye? He's gotta be pretty high.
With the continuous talk about supplies for the group and stealing Hydra's stuff, Phil is bound to think "I need to hit up Start for some toys. I'm the director now, I can decide if I want to stay dead. He'll only shoot me a little."
Really, really, really hoping Coulson shows up in Age of Ultron. Not only because I love him, but because it's starting to get a little ridiculous on the show, especially with him being director now.
I keep seeing ads for a new movie called "Fury" and I keep hoping for Nick Fury ... sigh ....
Heh, I was just reading
Loki, Agent of Asgard,
and Coulson has a cameo! Not that I should be surprised, him having been in the movies and all, but that was sweet.

I do the same thing, Todd.
I actually liked the running pulse-check bit. Made me feel better about my resting HR, for one thing.
Next week looks super fun.
Yeah, this ep was good. I am not annoyed by Skye this season.
Me, still annoyed. She went from know it all hacker to psuedo-SHIELD. At least they acknowledged it in this ep.
I'm finding Skye (or maybe the actress) less annoying this season, but her storyline confuses me. Her skillset is communications - hacking into computer networks and reading people. So why is she being trained to beat people up and shoot them?
That said, I really enjoyed the ep. Lovely to actually see Simmons again, and damn, the Ward/Fitz scene was powerful stuff.
So why is she being trained to beat people up and shoot them?
Because they're running out of people they trust who can do that.
