when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Really, really, really hoping Coulson shows up in Age of Ultron. Not only because I love him, but because it's starting to get a little ridiculous on the show, especially with him being director now.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I keep seeing ads for a new movie called "Fury" and I keep hoping for Nick Fury ... sigh ....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh, I was just reading Loki, Agent of Asgard, and Coulson has a cameo! Not that I should be surprised, him having been in the movies and all, but that was sweet.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do the same thing, Todd.

I actually liked the running pulse-check bit. Made me feel better about my resting HR, for one thing.

Next week looks super fun.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, this ep was good. I am not annoyed by Skye this season.

Me, still annoyed. She went from know it all hacker to psuedo-SHIELD. At least they acknowledged it in this ep.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm finding Skye (or maybe the actress) less annoying this season, but her storyline confuses me. Her skillset is communications - hacking into computer networks and reading people. So why is she being trained to beat people up and shoot them?

That said, I really enjoyed the ep. Lovely to actually see Simmons again, and damn, the Ward/Fitz scene was powerful stuff.

So why is she being trained to beat people up and shoot them?

Because they're running out of people they trust who can do that.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The Ward stuff confuses me. He's in prison, okay, and he still loves Skye, or thinks he does, and he wants her to be safe. All well and good. Is he repentant? Because especially after that last scene with Skye, I don't get that sense. I really don't get the sense that he wishes he hadn't gone along with whatever Garrett wanted.

No redemption without repentance, IMO.

I liked Simmons' storyline, although of course I'm worried about her.

I also spent a while in the beginning trying to figure out if Agent 33 was Hartley, but it wasn't. I'm still not convinced she's dead, anymore than Donnie Gill is dead.

I like that Ward is owning his evil. He is cooperating, he acknowledges he did wrong. I kind of admire him for being straightforward and not trying to wiggle out of anything.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My main problem with the episode was that every time they said Donnie Gill, I thought they were saying Johnny Gill.
