Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just thought it was concrete.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Teppy, I'm loving your phrasing on these comments.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

New Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tonight!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Huh.

So it's looking like Fitz realizes, on some level, the Simmons isn't actually there (though I was amused that his hallucination felt the need to argue for her existence to people who couldn't hear her.)

Also, hey, Mack actually got to participate in the episode. Also, good on him for bonding with Fitz.

Still lacking the funny (there were a couple attempts at jokes, but they fell really flat.)

I really hope the preview for next week was intentionally misleading.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

The preview for next week was the most interesting part of this week's episode. I don't know, it's just kind of...grim and depressing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I liked it, but I really have no problem with grim and depressing. I like that Coulson was honest with May, and I loved the cloaked planes at the end. I kept waiting for Kyle McLachlan to show up after his name was in the credits,so the end reveal of the girl with the flowered dresses (can't remember her name) working for him wasn't much of a surprise.

Also, hey, Mack actually got to participate in the episode. Also, good on him for bonding with Fitz.

Their scenes together were great.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So...did the actress playing Simmons just really want off the show, or are we expecting a double-agent/mind control twist?

Nice Kyle Maclachlan appearance at the end! Pity he's sharing screentime with Reina. I missed his name in the credits. (Candy Crush, not just a second-screen addiction, it protect you from spoilers!)

Liked the bit about yoga. Hopefully they'll remember to be funny more often. This is a Marvel show, people! The fun comics universe!

I strongly suspect undercover, no mind control.

hip deep in pie

Did I mention that I saw Ruth Negga outside the Kate Bush concert and she's weer than wee. The internet says she's 5'3", but I'm 5'4" and I felt like I could have put her in my pocket.

brillig

I kinda like that Agent Xena was killed, the cast was feeling a little bloated. And Yay for Fitz remembering that he had the answer and being able to get the information out.

And I'm thinking Simmons is undercover for her own revenge on Hydra and that's who Phil was talking to last week.

This week felt a little lighter . The old cloaked ship routine was fun.
