Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

All the exposition we've had all season is obsolete, so they've had to cram another season's worth of exposition into this one episode.

Glad Ward's not brainwashed, though.

This is the talkiest goddamn "action" show I've ever seen.

Has it even been renewed for a second season?

Oddly, the confirmation that Bill Paxton, Agent of Hydra, is a bad guy makes me like him more. He's just really good at being cheerfully bad.

hip deep in pie

It's too bad that Ward isn't one of those good guys who gets interesting when he turns bad. He and Paxton seem to being trying to bore me to the darkside.

I dig evil Paxton, but Ward is indeed just as boring as a bad guy as he was as a fake good guy.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I found evil Ward slightly more interesting. Also very glad he isn't brain-washed. Not liking the hints he could be "redeemed by love" though.

I feel really bad for Coulson though, his entire world has fallen apart, he's lost two good friends (one turned out to be evil, the other was spying on him) his people are doubting him, he's got a double-agent in his midst and the only person with any answers for him has decided to vanish (and he's damn good at doing that.)

Let's see, Fury recruited Phil out of high school. A thousand Military Coulson fics just got Jossed. Though he didn't say anything about *how* he was recruited.

I don't remember Coulson saying when Fury recruited him, just that he did. (Though I could have missed it.)

Ward did say Garrett recruited him at 17.

He said Fury recruited him out of high school, in the scene where he was putting the SHIELD badges into the safe behind his desk.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

So...why exactly did they hike 7 miles in the snow when they've got Lola the flying car?!

So very tired of the Ward/Skye nonsense. But I am glad they didn't go the route of Coulson losing it.

So very tired of the Ward/Skye nonsense.

At least it actually serves the plot now, giving Garrett a way into the hidden base etc. And the previews make it look like Skye gets a clue next week.

Fitz is desperately jealous of Tripp, isn't he.
