Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Well, I'm enjoying it. I don't think it's Firefly, but I kind of like having it on my DVR on Saturday.

I'm in the erika/Emily corner.

Well, I'm in good company.

This last week's episode did have the added bonus of making me go, "Hmm, hip-scarf as a skirt? We haven't tried that in my bellydancing class."

Actually, I'll go a little further. I like seeing Dushku, I'm curious about the background stories, and so far there have been a fair number of, if not "holy shit!" moments, at least "oh! huh, that's interesting" moments. And you know, I don't expect it to be Firefly-like in any way, but I do remember that I didn't exactly like Firefly at first either. So yeah.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I remember trying to get people to watch Dark Angel 's second season, when it started getting good and interesting, and featured Jensen Ackles.

But even the first season had its good points, imho. Hell, if Dollhouse is on a par with Season 1 of Dark Angel, I'm good to go. I'm encouraged to hear at least a few people here saying they're actually enjoying the show.

(I had a considerable fondness for Witchblade too. Albeit that was, in no small part, because Yancy Butler came across as they dykiest dyke in dyke town, and because there was a lot of eyecandy. And I liked their visual style.)

...what's this failed vampire soap opera of which you speak, btw?

Oh, I loved Witchblade. I couldn't bear to erase the season pass from my tivo. *sigh*

Moonlight, I'm thinking?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I will give this show until ep 6. I might be in for the whole season however many eps that is.

I figure if I hung on to "Fringe" until the show started getting good (and it really did and I had no pre-warning it would) then I can show the same patience to "Dollhouse." The only thing it conflicts with is "Flashpoint" and I can watch that on the 'net over the weekend.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I may skip eps 4-5 and wait until 6 or 7 to watch again. 1-3 weren't exactly must-see watching.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yeah, I will give the show a last chance by tuning in episode 6, since that is when it is supposed to get good. What I get for not paying closer attention to the interviews. If I'd know I'd have just read TWOP for the first five, and tuned in for the first time on six.

Ah - fair enough.
