One of the other things that bothered me was that there were only two guards. They guard 24/7? They commute to the mountain?
Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
It wasn't an official SHIELD facility, was it? It was some off-the-books facility without the SHIELD name officially attached, presumably so they could have plausible deniability.
But they found it by getting into the official SHIELD archive of Everything SHIELD Does. It can't be off-the-books if it is literally IN the book.
especially when they have Fitz's magic knockout-but-don't-kill gun.
Exactly! Where the hell was that thing?
I think the theory isn't that he's literally clairvoyant; it's that his SHIELD clearance is so high that he knows everything the "Clairvoyant" knew...except how Coulson was resurrected.
Okay...except hasn't Big C been shown to know things that SHIELD clearance wouldn't even have been involved in? I can't remember, I wasn't paying that much attention. But it does answer the question of why Big C couldn't see that one thing.
Garrett couldn't find that out with his SHIELD clearance since it was apparently done in that non-SHIELD off-the-books facility.
What about Doctor Book? Coulson found him; surely Big C would have at least the same resources as Coulson. He could have gotten the doctor and extracted all the information he wanted out of him; he didn't have to rely on politely asking.
I dunno. The mystery of Who Is The Clairvoyant hasn't grabbed me.
I'm predicting that the Clairvoyant is one of Skye's parents.
I'm predicting that the Clairvoyant is one of Skye's parents.
Ooh , , ,
why would one of Skye's parents tell Quinn to shoot her?
Maybe because he thought it would activate her powers?
Well, it's not like the Clairvoyant is nice. Plus it causes the team to go after what cured Coulson.
The Guest House was stated to be a non-SHIELD facility. I do agree that it was very off-putting that they killed two guys just doing their jobs. Especially with the Night-Night Guns available.
I think the reason Coulson was so shocked was not because aliens were involved, but rather the whole pulling fluids from half a dead alien to make medicine thing.
I am hoping that the choice to kill the two guards will be something that is revisited once the urgent SAVE SKYE blinders fall from their eyes.
Hmmm . . .
Of course, the idea that Fury wouldn't have someone reporting back on how Coulson was doing is ludicrous, now that I think about it.
