It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Because science, here are your timestamps: How To See The Avengers Shirtless.

Oh, dear, I may have been distracted from Thor's arms. I may have to go back and study further.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was going to be irritated if no one mentioned the Hulk. Then they did, and I was happy.

Who votes that when Coulson was interrupted saying "Thor is good looking but..." the rest of his sentence had to do with Captain America?

ME! And given that another of the 4 people in my viewing group was the one who actually said so out loud, we can (completely unfoundedly) extrapolate that half the nerdy audience did. Because science.

The Dollhouse shout-out was incredibly well-played, IMO, because it ratcheted up the creepy substantially for those who got it.

Also, Portland! That's where Coulson's cellist lived in Avengers. Aww, Coulson's cellist probably thinks he's dead.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Also, Portland! That's where Coulson's cellist lived in Avengers.

Yeah, he mentioned to the Biscuit that Portland has a great philharmonic. I thought that was a nice touch.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I didn't expect gratuitous manflesh when I clicked over here. How nice.

I've decided that, as attractive as many tattoos are, they detract from my appreciation of the line of a well-developed set of shoulders and arms.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

The Dollhouse shoutout creeped me RIGHT the fuck out. In awesome ways, though.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

One thing I liked about this episode is that Simmons was allowed to be wrong about how long the artifact was in the tree. She speculated millenia (unlikely as those weren't bristlecone pines in that forest), and Dragonslayer established it was no more than 472 years.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

TANCHAROEN: Clark Gregg is so cool. He’s a pretty cool cat. People are drawn to him. He’s got a sexy everyman thing.
