We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Titus Welliver, who played the Fury-alike, also played War on Supernatural, and drove a cherry red mustang (War rides a red horse). Him touching Lola was a sort of callback for me, but I'm sure it was only me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

For PC and Una: That's Not How You Pipette

I think it's hilarious that after my "WHY AREN'T YOU BETTER, SHOW?" rant a few weeks ago, the last two eps have basically been EXACTLY what I wanted. So I'm glad I stuck it out!

I was 50/50 on whether Simmons would die or heroically rescue herself. It did seem a bit early in the series' run to be doing A Hole In The World already.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

ILU, Titus Welliver.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Also, was it Twitter that said Fitz=Ron and Simmons=Hermione? Because that is the essence of truth.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I do not know enough about HP to put Ron into a role of an egghead.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm mildly amused that you guys are complaining about the sciencey stuff, and personally, I'm hung up on how Kyle can jump out of a fast-moving plane a minute or so after Simmons and freefall to anywhere remotely close to her vicinity.

On which note, I just discovered that they're showing Agents of SHIELD here in Australia on almost the same schedule as in America. So that's nice.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm hung up on how Kyle can jump out of a fast-moving plane a minute or so after Simmons and freefall to anywhere remotely close to her vicinity.

I wondered about that, too, but then he did the aim-like-Superman-flying thing, which I think is supposed to break all laws of physics.

I think we were supposed to assume that her being all flaily and Ward being all aim-y let him catch up. Which I don't think is actually how it works. I'm also not convinced she would have survived the fall long enough for Ward to save her right before they splashed down - commercial planes fly at about 30,000 feet, most skydiving is done from around 10,000. Presumably a secret spy plane would want to fly above commercial flights to avoid detection and crashing.

I'm thinking less about the height and more that they'd already be something like 10km away from the spot where Simmons jumped out.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Off topic but related to jumping - there was a mid-air collision between two planes here the other day, but both were taking people up for skydiving so on the most damaged one the passengers were able to just jump out.
