I find Coulson's concern for Skye to be kind of creepy to be honest. Like I wouldn't be surprised to find out she his secret daughter or something (or the real him, whatever). But I have high hopes for next week. Which means it'll just be a fake out, of course.

TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
Seems like all Whedon shows must include a odd young woman who annoys the daylights out of half the audience.

I thought this too!
What is LMD?
Life Model Decoy.
Jed and/or Maurissa may have written for Spartacus, but they didn't showrun it. (If that's what P-C was saying; I was a little unclear.) And Spartacus was about the fastest-paced show I've seen in a long time.

It was and it wasn't! I wasn't sure whether they showran it or not, but it would have made my point better if they had.
I believe DeKnight was the showrunner for the whole series.
Now THAT'S the Coulson I like. (evil smile) "I know."
All he needed was his taser.
Finally got around to watching last week's episode. I liked it quite a bit. Not sure how I feel about Skye joining SHIELD for a "true and noble purpose" but at least we understand now why she was so willing to sign on and get with the program.
Not sure why they felt the need to blow Chan up instead of just shooting him. I mean, even if Coulson only brought the knock-out gun and May doesn't carry a gun for inexplicable reasons, they seemed to have beat up plenty of armed guards.
I did like Coulson's "They gave him a name." and immediately reaching for his gun.
