No muscle memory + "a little rusty" = definitely a robot, right?
I'd say so.
'Objects In Space'
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

The actress who plays Skye isn't great, but I did like her in the scene where she jumped out the window rather than firing the gun.

I liked that too. I'm hoping that all the actors loosen up and stop trying to out-deadpan Clark Gregg in future eps so we can see more scenes like that!
Skye is still not doing it for me. But then, I didn't like Faith, either. I hope Fitz/Simmons get personalities soon. I'm watching this for May and Coulson now. Agent Truck Driver was cool, I'd like to know more about him.
I'm liking Skye and this show more with each episode. I even kind of liked Ward in this episode. I do want more from Fitz/Simmons, but I do enjoy them.
The goddamn official Twitter feed spoiled me for the end by Tweeting "All villains have an #Origin story" before the episode even aired, so I figured Hall would become Mr. Gravitonium or whatever we're going to call him. But that will be fun.
This episode felt a lot more solid and more like what I was expecting from a Whedon show (written by Jed and Mo, though).
I agree that the show felt more settled around itself.
I agree that I'd be more interested if the show included Mr. Truck Driver Agent Man on a regular basis.
So apparently Graviton is a pre-existing character.

SHIELD had been promoting this as Graviton's origin story on facebook earlier in the week as well. I don't think it was meant be a shocker for Marvel readers (which is not me, I looked Graviton up earlier in the week when I saw the facebook post) once they named the character as Dr Hall.
Ah, I didn't realize he was from the comics!
