A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Just watched last weeks episode tonight and I enjoyed it.

I do agree that Ward's 180 on Skye seemed a little too quick.

I'm actually enjoying the nods to the larger cinematic universe, but don't really need The Avengers to show up.

I liked the Sam Jackson cameo, though I was kind of surprised they brought him in just for a humorous scene after the second episode. I would have expected something more important and/or sweeps-related.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

No SHIELD posts tonight? I liked tonight's episode. Skye reminds me a lot of Faith. I still think she can go either way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm freaked out by/feel bad for the guy at the end.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, that was freaky but kind of pretty too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Holy crap, that last shot!!

No muscle memory + "a little rusty" = definitely a robot, right?

Skye right now reminds me of latter-day Fred, when she got kind of boring and repetitive, except not played by Amy Acker. This girl isn't selling it for me.

I'd say so.

The actress who plays Skye isn't great, but I did like her in the scene where she jumped out the window rather than firing the gun.

I liked that too. I'm hoping that all the actors loosen up and stop trying to out-deadpan Clark Gregg in future eps so we can see more scenes like that!

brillig

Skye is still not doing it for me. But then, I didn't like Faith, either. I hope Fitz/Simmons get personalities soon. I'm watching this for May and Coulson now. Agent Truck Driver was cool, I'd like to know more about him.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm liking Skye and this show more with each episode. I even kind of liked Ward in this episode. I do want more from Fitz/Simmons, but I do enjoy them.

The goddamn official Twitter feed spoiled me for the end by Tweeting "All villains have an #Origin story" before the episode even aired, so I figured Hall would become Mr. Gravitonium or whatever we're going to call him. But that will be fun.

This episode felt a lot more solid and more like what I was expecting from a Whedon show (written by Jed and Mo, though).
