Holy crap, I didn't think of that, but that would make sense! Oh man, how cool would that be.
The teaser was nice, but this trailer is AWESOME and makes me really excited for the show. I love superhero stories that take into account the normal person's perception of living in a world of superheroes (cf. Marvels).

SHIELD is looking like a lot of fun from that longer trailer. My first thought upon seeing the 30 second teaser was "Wait, was that Luke Cage?" The full trailer makes it seem likely (plus the added bonus of being played by JAR) though someone elsewhere suggested Rage was also a possibility.
I'm thinking Joss is more likely to include a classic lower tier hero than someone most folks have never heard of (Or at least I've never heard of. I had to google Rage.) with a kind of weird origin story. (He seems like Captain Marvel by way of TMNT.)

She had a very Eliza Dushku vibe to her, I agree.

Another speculation I've seen is Eli Bradley/Patriot because of the red-white-and-blue color scheme.
