There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers

TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She had a very Eliza Dushku vibe to her, I agree.

I'm thinking Joss is more likely to include a classic lower tier hero than someone most folks have never heard of (Or at least I've never heard of. I had to google Rage.) with a kind of weird origin story. (He seems like Captain Marvel by way of TMNT.)

Another speculation I've seen is Eli Bradley/Patriot because of the red-white-and-blue color scheme.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Micole noted how much the Skye character seems to be channeling Eliza Dushku, and now I can't unsee that.

Yeah, that pinged me immediately as well.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yeah, that pinged me immediately as well.

Ditto.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Bah. Jeffrey Bell says JAR is not Luke Cage: [link]

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

From that interview, I extrapolate that his character is MMMCookies.

Trust my rage

Have we discussed Joss on Colbert anywhere? Because I thought Joss was not his usual funny. He seemed nervous or something.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think the character of Colbert is a hard one for some people to react to well. And, I'm just guessing and probably off base, but Stephen Colbert just lost his Mom. If they talked at all before the show and out if character, I think then reacting to the character might not flow as easily.

It wasn't his best appearance I'd seen certainly.

I really want to see Much Ado in a real theatre just to look at his house. The rest, eh it seems like it would work well on a home theatre. But, oh, I love beautiful houses.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I may be reading into this issue, but I follow him on twitter and he has seemed kind of low key and somewhat distracted in the past 2-3 months. I wouldn't be surprised if he just has a lot going on.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Eh, seemed like a perfectly charming interview to me. Although, thinking back, I can only remember reading Joss interviews, not seeing them, so perhaps I am not a good judge of whether this one was up to par.

In that Tom Lenk interview with Joss, he basically said he was nervous about talk shows, because he hasn't done a lot of them, but when he deals with fans, he has no problems, because the fans are basically HIM.
