'Dirty Girls'
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
I think he saw the tech as unavoidable and wanted to be in control of it and the means to resist it.

I think he saw the tech as unavoidable and wanted to be in control of it and the means to resist it.
This is how I took it too.
So, if Boyd has always been a doll, was he never around when the automatic doll blast tech went off? Was he faking being affected in the campus episode?
Boyd wasn't a Doll. Topher fixed the device that let you wipe people with no Active architecture.
Oh, thanks. I totally missed that and was all confused.
ETA: Wait, didn't the guy in the attic say he didn't know what the founder looked like because he could be in any body?
I think he only said that because that's what HE did. He assumed Boyd also put himself in other bodies. And maybe he did. But Boyd was the original.
I don't think you can put youself in other bodies without doll programming.

The recipient has to have Active architecture, but the donor doesn't. Is that what you meant?
What does that mean?
Or maybe the more appropriate thing would be to say "It better not be a Babylon 5". That is, Fox suddenly says "Oh, by the way, can we get a new season of this?" when the powers that be have already got its close done up (I went with the "reverse Farscape" because I was never a B5 watcher).
I doubt that's what that announcement means, but since up 'til now it seems Fox is determined to torment Joss, who knows.
Apparently Joss has stated outright there will be no more Dollhouse in any media--film, comics, TV, nothing.
