Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers

TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What does that mean?

Or maybe the more appropriate thing would be to say "It better not be a Babylon 5". That is, Fox suddenly says "Oh, by the way, can we get a new season of this?" when the powers that be have already got its close done up (I went with the "reverse Farscape" because I was never a B5 watcher).

I doubt that's what that announcement means, but since up 'til now it seems Fox is determined to torment Joss, who knows.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently Joss has stated outright there will be no more Dollhouse in any media--film, comics, TV, nothing.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Just watched it. I thought it was the finale, so when "10 years later" flashed up I might have exclaimed, "fuck you, Joss." It'll be interesting to see how he wraps it up.

I guessed Mellie was going to bite it before they left the Dollhouse.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It seemed like a big oversight on Adele's part to bring a doll with sleeper programming with on their mission.

She thought that she was the only one who could activate her. I don't know why she would think that, since she managed to do it with an answering machine.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Just watched it. I thought it was the finale, so when "10 years later" flashed up I might have exclaimed, "fuck you, Joss."

Sadly this was my reaction just watching the episode. Eh.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I kinda thought it was inevitable, so thought it was a neat lead-in to Epitaph 2.

Art Crawl!!!

I can see FX as a good home for a Whedonverse show.

Always Anti-fascist!

Me too...they seem to let 'em do what they want over there.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Well that would be good. But has Joss really not had the opportunity to go elsewhere? Or has Fox simply offered more money?

"I had no choice. They waved money under my nose."

That's where Eliza was.

It's not like he's Tim, who's repeatedly been hammered by Fox.
