TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Also, Clyde seemed like a decent guy in the Attic. I suppose that was only because he'd been in the Attic a while.

I thought that Attic!Clyde made a comment that the reason he was sent to the Attic was because he'd had second thoughts about what Rossum was doing. The Doll!Clydes had been "enhanced" to remove the new-found conscience.

Even though I wasn't sure what the point of making him Topher again was, really, plot-wise.

Only Topher knew about the secret video camera and how to access it.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I guess Topher did not have time to post a note saying "Video Camera over thataway. Press the red and yellow buttons to play footage."

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I guess Topher did not have time to post a note saying "Video Camera over thataway. Press the red and yellow buttons to play footage."

Yes. That might have been a little less risky. Overall.

Not such a great idea if you want to control WHO gets to know about it. If he'd done that, the secret footage would have gotten destroyed along with the known footage. But imprint Topher into a person and Doll!Topher gets to make a judgment as to whether the others with him are worthy of the knowledge.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Plus Doll!Topher has the ability to re-imprint with ninja skills.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Joss apparently was in a meeting with an F/X bigwig recently. Announcement of a new show on the network forthcoming?

Christ - it better not be a reverse Farscape.

Pretty much what everyone else said. I'm not sure why Rossum/Boyd went out of their way to nurture Topher, who would bring the brainpocylpse and Carolyn who had the marysuespinal fluid. Did he want the end of the world? Why not just put a bullet in Topher back in the day and be done with it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think he saw the tech as unavoidable and wanted to be in control of it and the means to resist it.

it better not be a reverse Farscape

What does that mean?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think he saw the tech as unavoidable and wanted to be in control of it and the means to resist it.

This is how I took it too.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

So, if Boyd has always been a doll, was he never around when the automatic doll blast tech went off? Was he faking being affected in the campus episode?
