"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I can see it happening, Frank. Not sure how well I'm gonna like it, though. Good call.

IOmeandmystudiesN: boy, can I understand now the metaphor after 4 hours of anthropology class about emotional management and the emotional labor that's now a part of the service industry. And yet, there's this: [link]

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Wacky theory, Frank. I like it! Although, I'd be surprised if that's what they were thinking when it was made.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yeah, especially since I don't think they really knew what the Attic was going to be until they started writing this season. At least that's already paid off a little better than, say, "Tormented Space" or "Sydney wakes up 1 year later in Hong Kong (or wherever it was)".

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Oh god, is Topher going to re-experience Bennet's death?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Man, it hurts watching "Topher" gesturing at the blood-spattered screen repeatedly.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

mnhh hngh wah hah wah! The suspense with Topher is killing me.

Later, I was getting ready to cry some more in anticipation of Topher pain.

And then later later I laughed and laughed over "I love you guys".

And there goes the buddy cop series with Ballard and Boyd.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Ah fuck.

Amy Acker continues to amaze me. She seems so male, but not a charicature of a man.

Oh Tahmoh, bet you never thought you'd be good for nothing more than braindead jokes and comic relief, huh?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Whoa!

Nice turn of the tables on Boyd or whoever he was!

But, did they save the world?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

But, did they save the world?

Well ... there IS one more episode to go, so I'm thinking not as much as they think.

It's like ... you know how when a series finale happens, and you're generally OK with it, but you find yourself thinking, "Yeah. No way is it THAT easy." But, show's over, so there's not much use in wondering what's next? (Except in fan fic, where inevitably the next chapter entails sex with Spike.)

That's what this episode felt like. (Minus the sex with Spike part.) This felt like that sort of series finale, except that there's actually a whole other chapter left. So ... yeah!
