Watched from the beginning, but just logging in. I take it you caught up. I'm rather bored with the Margaret story and wish they would spend more time with Topher and Sierra.

Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
I came in late... I get that Echo is a now-deceased friend of Adelle's who was having frequent brain scans (hence the recent imprint), but is Sierra imprinted with another Topher?
He told Echo's handler he needed a subject for some super high-tech diagnostic, and instead he made himself a little friend.
It is the first time I have found Topher not annoying.
The frequent brain scans were related to her paranoia over someone being out to get her??? I missed that bit of logic.
Yes, so she would have an up to date back up. I actually really liked this episode.
I really found myself not caring much about the A plot. It was interesting and, in the end, poignant, but here's me, not caring. It was an episode of Law & Order. Not mythology/arc driven, and really, not character driven either. There were minute moments where there was character stuff. But it was paltry.
DUDE BALLARD WTF IS THE MATTER WITH YOU!?!?!?
Ahem. First Adele, and now Topher. God, these people are so isolated and emotionally stunted. I feel sort of sorry for their morally repugnant asses.
BUT DUDE BALLARD. Did you see the look of pure HATE on his face? That was horrible, horrible, horrible. One of the worst rapes on this rape-y show. But I can see how he got there. He's so fucked up in his own head and self-loathing and OMG ugh.
I liked the episode. Next week is looking good, yay. Boyd BETTER win that fight. Way to give the moral high ground to the Dollhouse, BALLARD.
I did sort of come to think of ED as those people's mother. But I do agree that Topher and Sierra were more fun to watch.
Interesting in that Adelle was giving a few people their personal wishes (birthday gift for Topher, obviously from the once a year remark).
