Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

Because books.

I don't think I ever saw The Goonies, but I can't imagine it being a most-hated anything. It's a kids' movie!

I'd have to think about my most-hated. Cloverfied is right up there, I know that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So's Happy Feet, and what the fuck was that.

The Cat in the Hat and Garfield were kids' movies too. IJS.

Well, that's true, although I didn't see that either. But Garv came home from it with the kids and made the "hanging myself now" gesture.

hip deep in pie

I still want my three hours back.

Oh, see, I wish I could have seen the original nine-hour first cut.

Okay, The Goonies is AWESOME. As I believe I made clear in that COMM.

Most Hated Movie: The Thin Red Line.

There are a handful of others, but that's my go-to hate. I still want my three hours back.

Heh. We might not have all the same favorite movies, but oh, I share your hatred of The Thin Red Line. I think I've said, verbatim, that I wanted my 3 hours back.

Of course, if the director had just trimmed down the ENDLESS FUCKING SHOTS of Jim Cavieziel staring broodingly out of the boat for, like, 45 minutes, the movie would have been tighter and possibly easier to endure. (I was going to make a comparison here to Madame Butterfly, and the long-ass scene of Cio-Cio-San waiting for Pinkerton, but that's uber-geeky even for me.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am ita in that I also hated LiT and Eternal Sunshine. All those characters needed slapping! Another beloved film I hated: American Beauty. Ick.

We watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last night. Also ick, but in a totally different way than American Beauty.

Was it good? I wanna see it!

I wanted to punch everyone in that movie.
