Because books.

What about The Omen and The Exorcist?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I would exclude The Omen because the father (protagonist) was really a dumbass - in the original and the remake. He caught on MUCH too late.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I don't know about "The Ring." There's an awful lot of "leaving a potentially murderous video tape lying around" that goes on.

move out and draw fire

Lots of agreement with these.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I thought Jamie Lee Curtis was the smart one in Halloween, but it's been awhile.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

My boyfriend and I came up with a sequel - Purranormal Activity.

"OMG! My keys are in the middle of the floor! How'd they get there?!" *flash to our cat*

  • cat pawprints in baby powder on the floor*

  • our feet being attacked by the cat while we scream in terror* (us on the bed and him on the floor so we don't see him)

  • strange creaking noises and thunderous "herd of elephant" noises as he sneaks or runs at full speed around the apartment*

I thought the group in "Day Dawn of the Dead" did really well for the first three-quarters of the movie. I think that's the right installment in the franchise -- Sarah Polley, people taking refuge in a shopping mall.

Because books.

Oh, Sarah Polley's character was definitely not a dumbass in that movie. Others were, though.

It was brilliant right up until they were like "We can't stay here forever."

Yes, you can! You have food, water, guns, and locked doors!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's the Dawn of the Dead remake.
