A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

On P-C's rec, I watched Josie & the Pussycats today. That was way better than it deserved to be. Although the "ironic" product placement was a bit much.

Bonus: It passes the Bechdel Rule!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bonus: It passes the Bechdel Rule!

Huh. I should watch that.

Double-bonus - Oz sings "Backdoor Lover"!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I love that the prefab boy band is named Du Jour.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Right?? Glad you liked it too!

Although the "ironic" product placement was a bit much.

The funny part is that they didn't actually receive any money for any of it. They did it For the Irony.

Bonus: It passes the Bechdel Rule!

With flying colors!

I love that the prefab boy band is named Du Jour.

"Du Jour means family!"

Hey. New board.

Josie and the Pussycats is phenomenal. I watched it thrice in a row my first time.

I also love Return to Oz, though I think neither it nor the Garland affair really capture the spirit of the books very well. But that's okay by me, because despite loving the world and story, the tone of the Oz books never worked for me.

I agree that Sam Raimi is probably a bad choice for an Oz movie though. I don't think he'll maintain a very good balance of happy and creepy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Toy Story 3 only just barely passes the Beschdel test, but is pretty damn awesome all the same.

Without spoiling too much, I will say only one thing: Buzz Lightyear has a Spanish mode.

Oh, that explains the picture I saw. Heh.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Monsters, Inc. 2 set for release in 2012.

HURRAY!!

And Josie and the Pussycats should be required viewing, I love it that much. The soundtrack is awesome and was the first thing I played in my BRAND NEW FOCUS when I bought it long ago. It was the movie I watched with my girlfriends the night before my surgery last year, too. It is amazing and awesome.
