'Lies My Parents Told Me'
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Reportedly, Monsters and Cars are both going to have sequels.
I think I vaguely heard about Cars a while ago, but I didn't know about Monsters.
Monsters, Inc. 2 set for release in 2012.
Maybe this gives them a chance to have an older Boo and hence a female protagonist.
I knew about Cars because the merchandising for that is such a cash cow.
But this is kind of a bad trend of sequelitis.
Especially since they're not doing the one sequel I do want! (Incredibles.)
Right? That one totally needs a sequel. The Incredibles 2: Incredibler.
Unfortunately, baseball season just ended so I don't have access to my inside Pixar source.
And by "baseball season" I mean, Emmett's regular season. He'll still be playing on a tourney team all summer, including two double headers this weekend out by Diablo Valley College. Yeeesh.
Is school over for Emmett yet?
School is over for Emmett as of last Thursday.

Underrated Sixties Beauties
I'm not sure Charlotte counts as underrated. In fact, I think there was a period in the 70s where she would have been called overexposed (in many senses). Granted, she seemed to disappear for a long stretch after that, but she also made a bit of comeback recently as well.
One thing I'll always lover her for: she made a great Avengers appearance, and was pretty much an Emma substitute (until Emma showed up later in the episode).
