You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Conan's good but Red Sonja is awesome!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I wish that were true. But I am so not a fan of the 'gitte.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I tried to see Iron Man II.

The film broke...3 times! I gave up and took the refund and free pass. They have a digital print that they will start showing this weekend. I'll try and see that.

I saw OSS 117: Lost in Rio last night. It's sort of a French Austin Powers, but not so over the top. It could have been spoofier, but the 60s outfits were fab. I had no idea (and was naturally dismayed to learn) that it was a sequel. Of course, I immediately put OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies at the top of my Netflix queue.

In better completist news, it turns out that the European bookstore near me had the missing volume of the Adèle Blanc-Sec series, so I can finally read the next few I ordered.

Also, I'm so excited for Micmacs. It looks just like Délicatessen.

Yeah, from what I've heard he's gone back deep into his stylistic roots.

It looks like he is off the Life of Pi project, which makes me sad.

hip deep in pie

megan, does Micmacs have any idiomatic meaning in France? It always makes me do a double take because it also was the name of the local aboriginal peoples, until they adopted the more traditional pronunciation and spelling of Mi'kmaq.

That's where I went with it originally as well, as it's a "Micmac burial ground" that is the source of the trouble in Pet Sematary.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm now putting Pet Sematary together with Delicatessen. Great.
