All David Lynch movies are trippy and weird. Blue Velvet might be the most watchable. Eraserhead is my favorite and possibly the most bizarre.

It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. There is, out there somewhere, audio tape of James Earl Jones exclaiming in incredulous tones, "Eraserhead?!"
Eraserhead is my favorite and possibly the most bizarre.
Eraserhead is the most bizarre movie ever made that was intended to be taken seriously. There, I said it.
Blue Velvet is probably the least weird David Lynch movie.

The Straight Story?
Or The Elephant Man for that matter. Strange subject matter, a few outre bits, but mostly done...err...straight.
I'm watching Ondine and so far I'm absolutely charmed.
My favorite Lynch is Straight Story and that probably speaks volumes about me.
I love every molecule of the Straight Story. My overall love for David Lynch is based on, I think, imagining that I should. Most of his movies are to be endured more than enjoyed, which is not usually my style. But the Straight Story just killed me with charm and pathos.
Ondine: bah
Okay, after I got over the left turn (the tone more than any reveal/confirmation), I did like that.
So in honor of Dennis Hopper, I watched Blue Velvet.
