Eraserhead is my favorite and possibly the most bizarre.
There is, out there somewhere, audio tape of James Earl Jones exclaiming in incredulous tones, "Eraserhead?!"

Blue Velvet is probably the least weird David Lynch movie.

Compassionately intolerant
I love every molecule of the Straight Story. My overall love for David Lynch is based on, I think, imagining that I should. Most of his movies are to be endured more than enjoyed, which is not usually my style. But the Straight Story just killed me with charm and pathos.
