Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bruce Willis as Westly.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jack Black as Fezzick.

That'd be great!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What's the worst casting you can think of? Keira Knightly as Buttercup?

Fran Drescher.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's good casting.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I want them (and I realize that I find myself saying this a lot) to make the Whole Damn Thing into a miniseries, on HBO or Starz or whatever. For this one, it could even be non-premium channel. I want the backstory on film. Possibly even the Goldman bits. I would like the Tim Burton who made Big Fish to direct it and Claire Danes can play Buttercup (but only if she goes back to red hair and gains some weight). It would be, in my head, as similar to the current movie as Dr. No is to Casino Royale (this simile took the longest of any of this post. Other contenders: Lon Cheney's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Operas, Romeo & Juliet and West Wide Story)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's good casting.

I was gonna say. I'm totally imagining the Tarantino version now.

Michael Madsen is the six-fingered man!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I would like the Tim Burton who made Big Fish to direct it

That is the Tim Burton I want to someday remake Something Wicked This Way Comes.

I say this a lot. Usually about Dracula.
