Hannah Montana passes the Bechdel test even though it's a dopey show. So did Zoe 101 (on Nick).
The Tween shows often have that covered: Sonny with a Chance; Wizards of Waverly Place, True Jackson (black girl works at a fashion mag etc.)
'Hell Bound'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Not even the party committee?
I think the very fact that we can have this conversation and say "Oh yeah...there was that ONE SCENE IN THAT TWO HOUR MOVIE that qualifies!" about movie after movie after movie demonstrates pretty effectively how rare it is.

Very true. I'm just noting that the tween market is well served in this regard. If Sex and the City movie does as well (or better) than the first I wonder if Prexies will wake up to this market.
SATC is probably the poster child for passing Bechdel not having to mean anything deep for womankind. But there is a fair chance I'm prejudging the movies too harshly based on the few episodes of the show I've seen.
Cleopatra 2525!
I'm not sure whose point that proves.
hated that show.
The Good Wife would pass. Castle, nsm. I think Criminal Minds would as would Bones.
Criminal Minds and Bones probably eventually, but the doers and the victims are so often men that I don't think it's a slam dunk.
The Good Wife would pass.
Oh my, does it ever. The Alicia & Kalinda (or Alicia/Kalinda, which I have no trouble buying) relationship is one of my favourite thing about the show. And then there is Diane. Christine Baranski rocks so much. In a given episode, the show usually features several scenes featuring any combinations of these awesome women that have nothing to do with the men in their lives.
TGW snuck on me to become one of the most interesting shows on right now and the Bechdeltasticness of it all is a big part of that. And then there are the terrific dialog and complicated characters and arc-y plotting like whoa.
Designing Women FTW.
