Nothing worse than a monster who thinks he's right with God.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As far as shows Dylan watches, SuperWhy and Curious George both fail since the main character is male and in every scene.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There are several female Muppets on Sesame Street: Zoe, Prairie Dawn, Rosita, Grungetta (I have the plush toy). They rarely talk about boys.

information libertarian

But do they ever talk to each other? Like, Grungetta (had forgotten her) pretty much talks to Oscar.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

There are several female Muppets on Sesame Street

NSM with the Muppet Show, I just realized. Basically Miss Piggy, Janice and Carmilla the chicken. Does talk about men include male frogs?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But do they ever talk to each other?

They do. They frequently pair Zoe and Rosita.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Didn't Sweetums or one of the other big monster muppets turn out to be a girl monster? Am I making that up?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dang, y'all. Now I'm not gonna be able to watch a movie again ever without running it through the mental Bechdel filter.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My favorite recent TV show that blows away the Bechdel test is Sarah Connor Chronicles.

With movies, it's harder. Especially superhero movies.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sons of Anarchy, oddly, passes.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Sons of Anarchy, oddly, passes.

Bless it, yes it does.
