I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

While googling Sleestaks, I ran across this image that cracked me up: [link]

Damn, I wish that comic really existed....

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The Bob Ross one is made of awesome.

Yeah, if it were bigger I'd use it for wallpaper.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm so pissed about Land of the Lost. I mean, the show in the 1970s had a low budget, but it also had some A-list science fiction writers working on it. It deserves better than the Will Ferrell treatment.

I don't know - the trailer's pretty funny.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I still am amused to no end that Bill Lambeer (one of the biggest goons of the 80s Pistons team) played a Sleestak.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm going to see State of Play tonight. The LA times article about there not being any more serious thoughtful dramas if this one didn't earn $$ pretty much guilt-ed me into it.

There was a story in the Sun today about how they based the journalists' fashions on reporters at the Sun. Kinda funny. (Also movie got very good review.)

hip deep in pie

i'll just be over here clutching my dvd of the original Brit version.

I've been meaning to watch that since I saw Girl in the Cafe. I guess it will be hard to rent at the video store these days.

I've only read two reviews of the film, but they were pretty mixed.
