Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I started reading The Losers over my lunch break, and Cougar has just as few lines in the comic as in the movie--perhaps fewer.

The movie is pretty close in tone, so far, except comic!Aisha is completely batshit crazy and seems to have a very different backstory. They've made all the men sexier. Jensen is very spot on and Chris Evans keeps floating over the artwork for me. Oscar Jaenada is the second closest casting to the comic. Roque's basic story seems the same, but he's white.

And so far, halfway through, we don't actually get to see Max. Wade is pretty different too.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Danny Trejo is so fucking awesome

Indeed. That was a fun interview, and I'm can't wait to see Machete. I love that trailer so damned much. Fun!

hwæt

You know that there is a Monopoly (directed by Ridley Scott!) and, Dear God, a Magic 8-Ball movie in development?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Monopoly could be exciting with all the going to jail and busting out and beauty contests and whatnot. Selling your house so you can pay rent at a fancy hotel, high drama!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Magic 8-Ball movie in development?

The Variety headlines just write themselves.

I refuse to believe these.

Now, Candyland, THAT I would dig.
