Kickass Cupcakes is doing a co-promotion with the film Kick-Ass (ha!). The kid who plays Hit Girl will be at the Davis Square store this Thursday from 6-8pm.
Apparently, there was a "miscommunication". No Chloe. There was a girl there wearing a tight Kick-Ass t-shirt and red short-shorts, but she was most certainly not 13. I got a free cupcake so it wasn't a total bust.
Aw, too bad. But free cupcake!
I've been reading George Lucas's Blockbusting (not a bad movie reference book), and came across a good movie trivia question:
What was the first American film to issue a soundtrack album?
Gone with the Wind?
My first thought was American Graffiti but that can't be right.
I'm going with Wizard of Oz.
Ohhh I want to say it was an early Disney movie... Snow White maybe?

I can thank my crazy brother for that one. He IMs me trivia questions and then laughs at me for getting them wrong. He's very mean!
My instinct was Saturday Night Fever. Which I even rationally knew was wrong, but that is what my brain came up with.
