I found it rather painful, especially when my dad, afterwards, said "I hope your students act better than that!" to which I could only reply: "Oh, mine are WAY worse."
It may have been part of my decision to leave urban public schools.
It was a good movie, though.
The Class is by Laurent Cantet, and it is indeed an amazing movie. Cantet's one of the best working today.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to watch I pugni in tasca (Fists in the Pocket) in preparation for Bellocchio's Vincere tomorrow, but I just can't get into it.
Never seen it! I'm watching Ophuls' Lola Montes right now. Ah, so sumptuous.

I'm watching the director's cut of Hot Taco on a Cold Night. The Proustian beauty and chiaroscuro are stunning.
