At least it's not Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Sherlock Holmes has hit the dollar movies here. We went to see it today. I still love it. Must own so I can watch the backgrounds more and revel in the HolmesWatsonTherLuvIsSoPur.
Oh, Lee Pace, no.
Couldn't he have just resorted to doing porn instead?
Does anyone know if Rob Corddry has had a recent struggle with cancer or some other grave illness? I didn't realize until today that he's one of the guys in Hot Tub Time Machine because he's completely unrecognizable - about half his previous weight and looking like he's aged 15 years in the past two.
See what happens when you don't watch "Pushing Daisies?" Lee Pace has to go and make movies like this.
A quote for the ages.
We all went to the How to Train Your Dragon today. I was not excited about the 3D because the idea of keeping the glasses on Ellie was not fun. They actually did fall off many times until she figured out how to sort of hold them on. But that aside, the movie was a lot of fun.
I'm eager to see How To Train Your Dragon as it's done by Chris Sanders who did Lilo and Stitch.
I am not, however, keen on all of the movies being 3-D now.

Oh, really? Now I am more interested. It's been getting really good reviews.

Yeah, it's really annoying.
Iron Man 2 isn't 3D, though, right?
RIGHT?!?
YET.
And they just raised the 3D prices! What the fuck!
You know, I actually thought the 3D looked pretty cool. All the scenes of the flying dragons and such were pretty cool in 3D. I think it's annoying, though, to have to wear special glasses to see a movie.
