My copy of the Alice In Wonderland Visual Companion showed up yesterday. I ... wow, that's a really average fantasy movie plot, with some Victorian Grrl Power thrown on. It looks pretty, tho'
Oh, and Jess? Is the moat around the Red Queen's castle full of bears? Because the book said it was a very GRIZZLY moat, and that's when I started snickering inappropriately.

I'd call it an AU movie, rather than a time-travel one, despite the mostly flashback structure of the first half.

I forget - did we reach a consensus on Avatar? Because the more I think about it, the more I hated it, so its success and Best Picture chances are just depressing to me.
