Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I saw that on Broadway with Alan Rickman as Valmont.

swoons at the memory

Hey. New board.

I saw it on Broadway with Laura Linney as Merteuil, which was a spectacularly bad piece of casting. It was a pretty terrible production.

Jealous of the Rickman viewing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Uma Thurman and Faruza Balk and ...memfault, that girl who I usually kind of like...

Selma Blair?

Hey. New board.

That's the one!

ETA: I actually hated all three performances of that role. Though Cecilie is a pretty poorly written character, so it may not be their fault.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Boy, I'd give a great deal to have seen that.

plus that adaptation whose name is slipping my mind

Cruel Intentions

Cary Grant and Bing Crosby

C.K. Dexter Haven (You have unexpected depth!) I can't recall if Crosby's character was named the same in High Society. He should have been -- it's a GREAT name.

Yes, she calls him Dex. I don't know if that's used in Philadelphia Story.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Zac Efron and Tobey Maguire?
